MINISTERIAL MEETING
Upcoming Ministerial Meeting
Friday, April 17, 2026 (online only), 10 am - 12 pm (CDT)
The EMC Ministerial meets several times a year to discuss theology, pastoral care, and ministerial administration. Beginning in 2026, the first meeting of the year will be online only in April, and the second will be in-person (hybrid) near the end of November.
Who should attend? Anyone who works in church pastoral leadership, including all pastors, elders, deacons and their spouses, as well as missionaries, is invited to attend Ministerial meetings and participate in discussions. However, only credentialed ministers are eligible to vote on theological or church issues. During ministerial meetings, this will be clearly stated to avoid confusion.
Theme: Advancing Christ’s Kingdom as We Live, Reach, Gather, and Teach.
Our EMC Mission statement is a bold proclamation of a commitment to go beyond our own comfort and not be limited by the status quo. This is our Conference’s declaration that we will work together to see the message of Jesus Christ go out beyond our church walls, resulting in life transformation in the souls we encounter. What posture do we need to take up now to be effective in advancing Christ’s Kingdom in our local neighbourhoods?
