Prayer Guide

Lord, give us a thirst for your Word given to us in the Bible! 

1. That we would surrender fully to the authority of the scriptures 

2. That we would be nurtured deeply by the food given in the Bible 

3. That we would be devoted to studying, praying, memorizing and singing the Bible 

4. That we would know unity and not division as we read the Bible together. 

Lord, give us a godly and grace-based awareness and repentance of sin! 

1. That we would have power over addictions (drugs, porn, internet, Netflix)

2. That we would have victory over the sins that destroy community: gossip, ambition, manipulation, envy and resentment, etc 

3. That we would have a culture of repentance, confession and godly sorrow in our churches over sin 

4. That we would know the abundant grace and mercy of God towards us, bringing a sense of joy and happiness to our worship gatherings 

Lord, may our worship gatherings be beautiful, filled with glorious transforming worship! 

1. Pray that these gatherings would be filled with strong and glorious singing 

2. Pray that these gatherings would be anchored in biblical preaching that draws people to Christ

3. Pray that these gatherings would be rich in prayer 

4. Pray that these gatherings would be times of community and belonging 

Lord, fill us with a contagious faith, and fill us with the love of sharing it! 

1. Pray that our faith would be contagious to our own children—that we would pass along the riches of Christ to our families 

2. Pray that we would be inspired to reach out to our towns and cities, meeting needs and sharing the love of Jesus  

3. Pray that our faith would reach across cultural and language barriers to become a global reality of people in all nations worshipping the Lord  

4. Pray that as we reach new people, we would know how to open our lives to the love and messiness that this demands
