Pastoral and Congregational Covenant

The pastor is called to holiness, empowered by the grace of Jesus. While this commitment cannot describe all the areas in question (finances, truth-telling, parenting, neighbour relationships, technology, food and drink, medical ethics etc.), some central postures will affect the rest of life. This commitment accompanies and complements the Ministerial Misconduct Policy. This covenant will be most effective when the pastoral staff, congregation, and conference leadership share responsibility and care for one another.
